We’re pleased to provide our purchasers and prospective purchasers an update on the construction activity at the V&A site in Broadbeach.
The leadership team of V&A’s builder, Iris Built, has been appointed and the Senior Project Manager, Simon Hughes, commenced last month.

“One of the major early works completed to date has been the retaining wall around the perimeter of the site, which retains the support and structures,” David Higgins, Director of Residential at Colliers, says.
With the retention wall surrounding the perimeter of the site now complete, the subcontractors have de-mobilised off the site and Iris Built have taken the reins, ready to commence structure and excavation works.
It is expected that level 6 of the basement level will be reached later in the year, after which Iris Built will commence the raft slab and lift core foundation.
“Iris Built is fully engaged, sales are going well and the market continues to be strong,” David says.
