V&A’s First Release Attracts an Influx of Premium Gold Coast Buyers

The Gold Coast property market is surging, with median unit prices finishing 2021 at 26% higher than the previous year. Demand is strong, thanks to a fertile combination of interstate migration, relative affordability, low interest rates and eased restrictions.

V&A is already seeing a flurry of success in the market, with its first release kicking off in December 2021 with impressive results.

The enquiry has been unprecedented at V&A, and it’s the premium offering that is attracting buyers’ attention.

“V&A’s campaign is off to a soaring start, with an incredible $70-million-plus worth of stock already sold in the last month – and there are over twenty more EOIs expected in just the coming weeks,” David Higgins, Director at Colliers QLD, says.

Resonating with the buyers are the generously-sized residences combined with the sheer scale of the amenity, with many purchases close to the $3.5 million mark. This is well and truly over the Gold Coast’s median unit price and reflective of the development’s unique and diverse offering, which caters to buyers at the luxury end of the market who are on the hunt for that something special.
